In order to promote our country's middle school chemistry discipline education to connect with international trends,these decades our Chemistry curriculum reform has begun to draw lessons from advanced part of foreign campaign and experience,especially excellent chemical textbook to help the development of domestic textbook compilation.This paper has comprehensively compared Chinese and south Australian Chemistry textbooks for senior high school grade 1 on their Course Objectives,Content Features,Knowledge Structures and Edition Theories;And drawn the conclusion: Chinese and south Australian high school grade1 Chemistry textbooks contain an approximately same chemical teaching knowledge framework;The edition of teaching materials in the two textbooks embodies the concept of the curriculum standard carefully,the content and structure of them both lay emphasis on systemic representation of the basic knowledge and skills of chemical discipline.By means of the analysis on the distinct features of two nation's Chemistry textbooks,we obtained helpful enlightenment for textbook compilation and Chemistry teaching development: combining experimental characteristics with teaching design;Attaching great importance to Chemical terminology teaching;Taking advantage of multimedia equipment,to develop more excellent multisensory supporting resources,etc.Contributing reference voice to the related educational institutions.
