Textbooks are not only the carriers of national teaching ideas,but also the important basis for the teaching design.Because different countries have various concepts of education,which of textbooks compilation by countries are very diverse and distinctive.The chemistry is a subject based on experiments.The setting of experiment in chemistry textbooks plays a key role whether the knowledge can be easily learned by the students.If you want to design a class,you cannot stick to the textbook.You should integrate the contents of different editions of textbooks and design the best teaching content.Therefore,this paper selected the mainstream American chemistry textbook Chemistry: Concepts and Applications,with three popular versions of high middle school Chemistry textbook in China(PEP,Jiangsu Version,Shandong Scientific Press)and three popular versions of the junior middle school chemistry textbook(PEP,Jiangsu Version,Shandong Scientific Press)to support the same knowledge in the experimental comparative analysis.The conclusion expresses ideas in the textbook experiment set features and benefits from each other,which provides resource for the teaching promotion of experiment design,and new round of curriculum reform after the textbook revision.Based on literature review and analysis,the thesis that guided by constructivist theory and comparative education theory,analyzed and compared the contents,inquiry,maneuverability and so on,of which the experiments that support the same knowledge in the textbooks mentioned above.The following conclusions were reached : the experimental contents set up in American chemistry textbooks are more interesting and close to real life.it is easy to arouse students' interest in study;Moreover,the content of the experiment is very situational,and it is easy to bring the students into thelearning status;Secondly,the experimental phenomena set in the American edition textbooks are obviously helpful for students to observe the records;the rich types of experiments increase the chances of students' experiments;The instruments involved in the experiment are more advanced and have a wider range of materials,allowing students to use the materials in their lives to conduct experiments at home.In addition,the experimental safety education in the textbook is very comprehensive,which can cultivate students' safety awareness and ensure the safety of students' experimental operation,to ensure the safety of students during experimental operation.The experimental content of several editions of the textbooks in China has changed greatly from the experimental contents in the textbooks before the change in 2003: the number of experiments has increased obviously;The types of experiments in textbooks are basically inquiry experiments,it is more conducive to the cultivation of students' scientific quality and innovative spirit;There is a strong link between the experimental contents designed in domestic textbooks and the difficulty of the experimental contents involved in elective textbooks and compulsory textbooks.It is helpful for students to learn from shallow to deep.The experiment content is more operable,and the time of the experiment is short,which is beneficial to the students' hands-on operation.Based on conclusions above,some suggestions are put forward for front line teachers' chemistry experiment teaching and revision of teaching materials: in order to cultivate the students' practical ability,teachers should design an exploratory experiment as far as possible on the premise of ensuring safety;choose the experiment with obvious difference when we designed the demonstration experiment;in order to meet the needs of students at different levels and promote the cooperative development of curriculum objectives,The teacher should carry on the second development to the textbook.In the revision of the textbook,it is necessary to design experiments with strong maneuverability,inquiry and diversification significance,with considering different levels of schools and students.It is necessary to stimulate students' interest in experiments under the safety of chemical experiments,and weshould enrich the connotation and extension of chemistry experiment,and pay attention to interdisciplinary relations,to develop students' abilities in all aspects.
