Since transgenic technology was applied to the field of agriculture and food, and moved into the public view, the intense debate that it caused has never stopped. The folk anti-GM voices have never ceased or weakened because of the guarantee of the GM security from experts and the government.Obviously, over this issue, there is substantial divergence within the communication of science and the publicIn risk society, science and technology shows its uncertainty. The media has become a major channel for risk communication and science communication. And the public has improved its dominant position in science communication with the new media platform. The concept and model of scientific communication need to develop. This paper takes the articles related to GM from WeChat Official Account Admin Platform as analysis sample sources, and takes anti-GM folk discourse as the research object for discourse analysis. The paper tries to analyze the formation mechanism and construction logic of folk anti-GM discourse,to reflect the problems of science communication, and to explore possible solutions. This paper shows that the formation mechanism of anti-GM discourse is very complex. The public's perception and evaluation of the risk of transgenic technology is influenced by many factors, including the characteristics of science itself, the degree of social trust, the way of media risk construction and scientific literacy and media literacy of the public. In addition, the anti-GM discourse has connection with other discourses and contexts, including nationalism,Chinese traditional health culture. Thus, the public's understanding and acceptance of science is not a product of complete rational persuasion.Science must be disseminated in a concrete context.Scientific and public communication in the media should be promoted as well as the public participation in scientific decision-making.
