3D printing, which began in the 1980 s,has so far been developed for almost three decades and formed dozens of techniques.Along with improvement of printing resolution,it could print complicated parts. However,at present popularization and in-depth development of 3D printing are restricted by many factors, such as printing materials, efficiency and cost. With the purpose of improving precision, saving materials and reducing cost, this paper, based on using available resources, analyzes key techniques of all the processes from designing wireless mouse to printing it,in order to improve printing precision and efficientcy.First, this study designs wireless mouse three dimensional model using Solidworks software, and based on interference checking, converts this three-dimensional model to STL file format, which is widespread in the field of 3D printing. Some errors, such as fracture, porous, data redundancy and reverse normal vector, which appear easily in STL file, are repaired by using Netfabb software. Then, how to choose correct slicing direction and slicing thickness for models is the prerequisite of improving printing resolution and efficiency.Taking Meshmixer and Cura software for examples, they automatically add dendriform support to mouse modeling, delaminate and set up the basic parameters of delamination software.Consequently, this study converts two-dimensional profile data of modeling after delaminating to motion track of printing head in 3D printing.Next, printing mouse model by using Pro Jet 3510 HD printer,we find that during the process of formation, the surfaces of formed parts appear distortion, such as dents,so the printing is failure.Through multiple tests,it is concluded that the reason for failure is that materials occur linear shrinkage and volume contraction during this process. With development of hollow mouse modeling,we finally achieve mouse printout with good quality.Based on this, the profile of this mouse printout is scanned by Metra-SCAN 750 optical scanner to get cloud data of three-dimensional coordinate points. In addition,by importing cloud data into Geomagic Control, comparing it with mouse three-dimensional CAD modeling, and carrying out quality test,we obtain color deviation map and related graphs.Later,we clarify the data deviation and analyze its causes. Finally, based on finite-element analysis, this research uses Solidworks Simulation software to numerically simulate the process of wireless mouse drop impact.By setting up relevant simulation conditions,we show the process of drop impact factually, obtain instantaneous test data of it,and offer help to structure of mouse for future improved design.
