Bagtiyarlyk Contract Area Project in Turkmenistan is now the largest overseas natural gas project of CNPC and supplies most of gas source of Central Asia Gas Pipeline. As the biggest gas field in the Contract Area, Samandepe gasfield has been deeply explored and studied. It very important to research the reservoir with use of geological and geophysical technology to speed up the exploration progress and increase the development efficiency of the Contract Area on the rich seismic and drilling data bases in hands?In this paper, we calibrate geological layer with VSP and logging data, interpret the structure of main reflect zone in shallow layer, top and bottom of carbonate rock and XVp layer, complete the target zone structure map, make sure the structure detail and trap closure?Through the study of reservoir parameter, make sure the different electrical property of reservoir and non-reservoir. The electrical property of reservoir is high interval transit time, high resistively, high permeability, high porosity, low natural gamma, low neutron gamma ray and low shale content.The XVm is in good thickness and physical property, XVp's thickness is 10-20m and good physical property, XVac's thickness is about 10m and bad physical property. Seismic forward modeling is carried out aim at thin reservoir XVac and resulted in good resolving effect?Research the seismic response characteristic of reservoirs according to the structure property of Samandepe, with use of the rule, research three sets of reservoir of the seismic attribution, forecast the reservoir and intensively predicate the single layer?Through the study, reservoir XVm is well developed with good parameter which is proved main gas producing zone in this area. Reservoir XVp is in good physical property but parameter is in second place, which is an important capacity replacement zone in this area. Reservoir XVac is thin and worse physical property which is the worst accumulation parameter?On the ground of integrated data analysis, we submitted 4 well location proposals and 2 of them implemented which reached the forecasted target reservoir. Thus confirmed the gas bearing possibility of XVac and the reliability of this seismic reservoir forecasting?...
