Seismic data quality control is very basic and very important in the whole seismic exploration work, which throughout the whole collection production process. High quality seismic data is the key to improve the accuracy of seismic exploration and interpretation. At present, field production adopts a combination method of man-powered and computer, of which the work efficiency is low and there are a lot of human disturbance. Furthermore, the seismic data quality control method and function of the software are not comprehensive, which needs further improvement. Therefore, the study of a set of effective methods to control seismic data acquisition quality has become inevitable demand of the quality control work, which has very big practical valueIn this paper, the importance and necessity of quality monitoring of field seismic data acquisition are introduced firstly, and then the present quality control methods and software of seismic data are introduced. Relying on real-time monitoring software of GeoMountain, We study and extend the seismic data quality control methods, using QT programming language to realize these methods and extend the function of the software. The two kinds of real-time seismic data acquisition methods, namely windows mapping a network drive and FTP, are studied. By analyzing SEG-D, we obtain the working state parameters of geophone, forming a method to check the working state of the geophone; We also study the method based on picking start time to judge the source and receiver relationship and abnormal trace identification method based on the average energy difference between the start time sides. These methods form the seismic data quality control technology, and have been applied in the actual work area. The application results show that they can shorten the exploration period, reduce the exploration cost and make good control to the data quality.
