With the advent of the era of Internet + and the accelerating process of global informatization,geographic information system is developing rapidly and is widely used,accumulated a wealth of information resources.In the process of generation and updating of spatial data,the consistency of the spatial data matching determines the availability and effectiveness of geospatial information,is becoming more and more attention.Among them,the geographical names as basic geographic information data and the important part of geographical spatial data,its consistent matching has become the key research of multi-source geospatial data integration as well as geographic information retrieval.At the same time,along with the growing demand for geospatial information communication,the semantics of geographical names has gradually been the core in geographical information expression,communication,and geographic service.As a theoretical problem,semantics consistency matching calculation of geographical names has significant applications in elimination of toponym ambiguity,repeat toponym discriminant and accurate retrieval,it is necessary for us to do some in-depth study.First of all,introduces the studying background,the significance,the domestic and international relevant research on spatial data semantics consistency and toponym consistent match processing,puts forward the necessity and urgency of the toponym data semantics consistency research.In addition,analyzes the basis concepts and related theory of toponym data and consistency,explores the classification,the characteristics and unique way of word-formation of geographical names,concludes the reasons of different types of name change as well as the causes of the toponym semantics inconsistencies.Secondly,in view of the shortcomings in existing names matching method,based on the standard Chinese word-formation characteristics of geographical names,the article simulates people's cognitive habits,associates the names semantic consistency matching with names semantic similarity computation,proposes a algorithm combining geographical general name semantic similarity with proper noun semantic similarity matching.Through the way of determining the weight dynamically,calculates the integrated semantic similarity of similar names,in order to achieve the purpose of semantic matching.In the process of the general name semantic similarity computation,type ontology of the geographical name is built according to the classification,as carrier of the general name semantic consistency calculation.This paper expounds the existing similarity algorithm based on ontology concept,chooses the algorithm based on distance to calculate the similarity of the general name semantic,and considers various influence factors,to make the algorithm improved.Finally,the improved algorithm are analyzed in test.In combination with geographical name data,through the c#programming,implements integrated semantic similarity matching platform of toponym.By using the improved algorithm,semantic similarity of the general name and toponym were calculated,obtains results,then makes a comparison between the results and people's subjective judgment value as well as other toponym matching algorithms.Results show that the algorithm is close to the people's cognitive,is feasible and effective.
