Research On Noise Control Of Wellhead Orifice Manifold In 008-H1 Well Of A Gas Field

A natural gas exploration blocks in Sichuan is one of the rare high temperature, high pressure and highly corrosive equipped gas fields. Since its operation, more than 20 wellheads appear excessive noise, the maximum reach 110 decibels, far exceeding GB12348-2008 "environmental noise emission standards boundary of industrial enterprises" defined in the "boundary of industrial enterprises of environmental noise emission limits which is 70dB". The noise problem has seriously affected the normal production, this problem has been listed as one of the top interior renovation project.Through on-site data collection and analysis, we analyze the reasons of 008-H1 wellsite excessive noise, find the reasons causing the noises theoretically and put forward the following alterations based on computer flow field analysis, optimization and targeted on-site construction.1. The main noise come from the manifold behind the throttle, and the spoiler is one main expansion. One way to reduce the noise is changing the ground trend of the manifold.2. The unreasonable selection of the throttle results the high flow rate and eddy current in the pipe which causes the noise in well site. We suggest to re-choose the throttle to reduce the flow rate and eddy currents.3. The mutation of the filling nipple’s diameter causes the eddy currents which causes the noise, so the filling nipple needs to be redesigned.4. The elbows in the choke manifold should be large curvature, so it can reduce the turbulence and eddy current in the pipeline.5. The rigid shortage of the manifold causes the vibration and resonance and the way to change that is to bury the connecting pipes underground to increase the rigidity of the pipe.6. Burying the pipe underground and wrapping the pipe with sound-absorbing cotton is a way to block noise transmission.The study on the above measures to transform the well achieved significant noise reduction, significantly reduced the field noise by local government environmental protection department detection. The well-field noise reached the national standard.Under the guidance of the correct theory, we solved practical problems in the field production. We plane to promote the measures comprehensively in the gas filed block based on summary of the practice of block noise reduction to ensure the safe production. And it can also be a complement and perfection to the development theory and field design of the high temperature, high pressure and yielding gas field.
