Electromagnetic stirring action has an important impact on the quality of aluminum alloy in the solidification process,therefore,study the electromagnetic stirring impact properties of alloy melt mechanism has important significance.In this study,Based on Maxwell electromagnetic theory deduced electromagnetic force equations and ANSYS finite element software based on finite element method establishment of a two-dimensional and three-dimensional physical models and finite element model,the software can simulate distribution of electromagnetic field and electromagnetic force,and by changing the electromagnetic stirring current,frequency factor to explore the parameters on electromagnetic field and electromagnetic force.Experimental results show that: the magnetic field distribution inside the metal melt under electromagnetic stirring is the magnetic field from the surface to the center decay and the magnetic field in the entire radial distribution symmetrical and in the radial direction showing a " V " shape;in one cycle,the magnetic field has cyclical movement,the direction of movement was clockwise under the electromagnetic stirring effect,the end of a movement cycle,the magnetic field back to the original position;The magnetic field evenly distributed in one cycle,in the calculation the range,the radial magnetic induction decreases with increasing frequency,electromagnetic force increases with frequency increases;the current significantly affect the magnetic induction and electromagnetic force,magnetic induction and electromagnetic force proportional to the current within the calculation range,magnetic induction and electromagnetic force increases as the current index showed increasing trend.To further explore the role of electromagnetic field through the ANSYS CFX software module to establish a three-dimensional physical model of the fluid and the finite element model,and the magnetic field is calculated after the electromagnetic force coupled to the flow field flow field as the initial conditions to simulate the flow field distribution and electromagnetic stirring parameters on the flow field.The results showed: adding electromagnetic stirring aluminum alloy melt generated around the center of rotation of the velocity field and enhance the melt flow;and added stirring speed in the billet surface melt maximum and minimum in the center,the distribution of its velocity field in the radial direction gradually decreases from the radial surface,the maximum tangential velocity of the fluid has the linear relationship between the intensity of the current,the maximum tangential velocity increases with increasing current,in the simulated frequency range the speed increases with the frequency increases.In order to verify the accuracy of the simulation,verified by actual experiment,the experimental findings that the results of simulations similarity to experiment and indicating that simulates a more accurate prediction.
