| In this work,a series of the copolymers of acrylic acid(AA)and hydroxyethyl methacrylate(HEMA)were first synthesized by using AA and HEMA as monomers and benzoyl peroxide as initiator via precipitation polymerization,and the corresponding fibers were then prepared by using sodium hydroxide aqueous solution as solvent and dilute sulfuric acid aqueous solution as coagulation bath through wet spinning.The prepared fiber with compact cross section and smooth surface was found to have good adsorption to a variety of dyes such as cation blue(CB),methylene blue(MB),cation cuilan(CL),cation yanlan(CYL),basic yanlan(BYL),and cation yanhong(CYH).It was difficult for the adsorbed dyes to separate from the fiber after adsorption due to the strong interaction between dye and fiber which was formed during adsorption,thus the prepared fiber showed some application advantages in the field of dye removal from water.Thereafter,the adsorption mechanism was revealed by researching the effect of initial dye concentration,adsorption temperature,solution pH on the adsorption property of the fiber and analyzing adsorption kinetics;additionally,the adsorption process of dye was described in detail.In addition to dyes,since the fiber prepared based on the copolymer of AA and HEMA had a lot of carboxylic acid groups and hydroxyl groups,it could also adsorb metal ions by complexation,and the adsorbed metal ions could be bounded tightly by the fiber.In this instance,the effect of the initial concentration of metal ions,the dosage of the fiber,adsorption temperature,and adsorption time on the adsorption capacity of the fiber was studied in this paper.The fibrous heterogeneous Fenton catalyst was prepared based on the study of Fe2+adsorption process.In order to reduce the dosage of Fe2+ and shorten preparation time,the fibrous membrane based on the copolymer of AA and HEMA was prepared via electrospinning,and the corresponding fibrous heterogeneous Fenton catalyst was also prepared.At last,the fibrous material was used as heterogeneous Fenton catalyst to remedy the water contained dyes via Fenton method,and the results showed that the fibrous material had excellent catalytic activity and could catalyze H2O2/O3 to oxidatively decompose a variety of dyes.cation blue(CB),methylene blue(MB),and cation cuilan(CL)decomposed at a relatively quick rate,and their removal efficiency at 90 min could reached 100%,but the removal efficiency of cation yanlan(CYL),basic yanlan(BYL),and cation yanhong(CYH)at 90 min was equal to 93%,and the removal efficiency of weak acid yanlan(WAYL)and aid hulan(AHL)at 90 min was only 89%.The fibrous material exhibited good reusability.Additionally,the fibrous material could remove dye to a greater extent and leave less iron ions in the treated wastewater than homogeneous Fenton catalyst such as FeCl2.The fibrous material based on the copolymer of AA and HEMA could adsorb the residual iron ions from the treated wastewater,and make these iron ions take part in the next catalyzation.For the dye solution with a volume of 10 mL and a concentration of 20 mg/L,when the catalyst with a certain mass was used,the optimum other conditions for the best removal efficiency were:pH 6.29,H2O2 0.02 mL,and O3 blowing time 1 min. |
