Drilling fluid vibrating screen is an important cleansing part of the solid control equipment,and its cleaning performance is affected by amplitude,frequency,vibration mode,screen and other factors.Traditional theoretical method can not be done to explore the law of the trend of particle group.In this paper,the discrete element method is used to simulate the screening process of the vibrating screen,and the influence of each parameter on the velocity of the particles and the trend of the permeation are discussed,then the analysis results are verified by experiment.The mainly work has been done as follow:1.Review the literature of simulation particle in domestic and abroad,summarize the research and practical application of particle sieving simulation,and how the principle of discrete element method was used in the simulation of screening machinery.Simulation and experiment design were done,as well as the particle contact model and simulation model of the various parameters are determined.2.The solid model of vibrating screen was established by using Pro-e modeling software as a prototype of new drilling fluid vibrating screen.The effects of the adhesion of JKR wet granules on the migration and permeation of different specifications were analyzed by comparing the difference between the dry particles and the JKR wet granules.The differences of particle transport and sieving conditions were compared between the different phase,difference angle,frequency,amplitude and sieve angle of drilling vibrating screen.The maximum migration speed and the maximum sieve rate were obtained.3.The three-dimensional models of screen deformation under convex,concave and flat installation method were established.The periodic vibration of vibrating screen was simulated by discrete element method,and the particle migration and the screening of the vibrating sieve were compared in the study.The simulation results show that the flat screen has a good screening ability,and the particle migration speed,processing capacity.And the movement speed of the convex sieve surface is slower than that of the flat screen,and the effective treatment area is small,which leads to the smaller handing capacity.4.Simulation of particle transport in the case of low frequency linear-high frequency circular polyphonic vibrating screen with different amplitude ratio was carried out.The simulation results show that there is a maximum velocity at high-frequency/low-frequency =0.2.Compared to single-frequency linear sieve,the best amplitude ratio of the case under the polyphonic screen has a better performance.The experimental results are in good agreement with the simulation,and the experimental and simulated particle migration velocity error is 16.7%.It is proved that the simulation of the screening process using the discrete element method is not only consistent with the operation process of the real vibrating screen in the macroscopic trend,but also in the micro data.
