Titanium-based PbO2 electrode has the advantages of light weight,strong corrosion resistance,sta'ble anode size,good catalytic activity and lower preparation cost than other coated titanium electrodes.So,it is an anode material with promising prospect.In recent year,many researchers have made a lot of research on the modified preparation of titanium-based PbO2 electrode,mainly focused on the modification of ?-PbO2 on the surface active layer of the electrode.However,although the researchers adopted a number of modification methods,can not get a large-scale industrial applications,electrocatalytic activity,long life,low energy consumption and low cost of preparation process of titanium-based PbO2 electrode.Therefore,it is very necessary to find a low cost and effective titanium-based PbO2 electrode preparation method,to promote its application.In this degree thesis,the preparation process of titanium-based PbO2 electrode was studied from three aspects:pretreatment of titanium matrix,preparation of Sb-SnO2 substrate and modification of surface active layer ?-PbO2.The purpose is to find out the pretreatment process of titanium matrix,the preparation process of Sb-SnO2 substrate and the modification process of ?-PbO2 in surface active layer,which is most beneficial to improve electrode performance,including electrochemical performance and stability of electrode.The study shows that the optimum treatment time of removing the titanium-based oxide layer and surface impurities was 3 min;the optimum treatment conditions for acid etching were etched with initial concentration is 20%HCl at 90?for 2 h;the optimum preparation process of Sb-SnO2 substrate is the use of tin-antimony material ratio of 6:1 coating solution,the conventional brushing;the addition of 0.015 mol/L Fe3+ in the plating solution resulted in the best electrode stability and electrochemical performance.The mechanism of Fe3+ doping in the bath is that Fe3+ and Fe2+ are interconverted between the anode and the cathode,and the Fe element is not consumed.The results show that the Ti/Sb-SnO2/?-PbO2 electrode with good stability and electrochemical performance is prepared under the optimum conditions.
