This paper presents that the palladium-carbon catalyst used in the hydrogenation step of synthesis of Meropenem,Biotin etc.which contained the sulfur groups has poor resistance to sulfur poisoning. To solve this problem,a new type of sulfur resistance Palladium-carbon catalyst is developed by optimizing and improving the existed production process. There are mainly includes the following three aspects:?the pretreatment of the activated carbon carrier;?Site-specific implantation of the metal nano-particles;?new activating process of palladium-carbon catalyst.(1)Preprocessing of activated carbon by appropriate dissolution and oxidation:on the one hand, impurities contained in the carbon can be reduced, and the original pore and the surface area of the carbon can be increased;on the other hand, the generated oxidation groups on the surface of the activated carbon can prevent the uncontrollable reduction process made by the original reduction groups to the active components in the palladium catalyst.(2)Optimizing the parameters of the aging and activating process of palladium-carbon catalyst based on the results of orthogonal experiment:poisoning resistance "protein type"distribution the of palladium nano-particles can be formed on the activated carbon.(3)Selecting the formaldehyde as the reducing agent:A small amount of carbon monoxide synthesized during the activation process can poisoned the palladium carbon catalyst weekly. This weekly poisoned catalyst will not only show sulfur poisoning resistance in the lately process, but also show the corresponding activity. Therefore,it avoid the degradation of sulfur poisoning resistance in the lately activation process.
