Research On The Correlation Effect Of Carbon Emissions In Guizhou's Export Products Sector

Nowadays the global total CO₂ emissions increased rapidly from 19.322 billion tons to 35.499 billion tons during 1978-2014.The potential threat to global climate change caused by the massive emissions of CO₂ and other greenhouse gases（House Gas Green,GHG）has aroused widespread concern in the international community."Coping with climate change and achieving low-carbon development" is gradually becoming the main theme of today’s world development.According to statistics,China’s total CO₂ emissions in 2014 has reached as high as 9.761 billion tons,becoming the country which emissions largest greenhouse gas in the world.The rapid growth of carbon emissions scale make other countries of the word stare at China coincidentally,China’s pressure to reduce emissions is growing.Focus on Guizhou,as an important energy base in China,the coal output is rich,but the long-term extensive production mode,resulting in unit energy intensity of products and pollution emissions is relatively serious.Based on this,this paper attempts to select the western Guizhou,central Henan,eastern Shandong,using Matlab R2016 b software and input-output model comprehensive,Based on their latest 2012 input-output data and energy consumption data,from the perspective which integration industrial and trade,with the help of industrial sector influence and sensitivity coefficient analysis method,finally constructs the implicit carbon emission model and the correlation coefficient index model of the export products sector.This paper hopes to find out the similarities and differences through the horizontal comparison of the three provinces,and finally provide some data support and policy suggestions for Guizhou to reduce the carbon emission through export industrial structure adjustment.Through the empirical research of this paper:1.Carbon emission intensity.（1）After taking into the total export value,by calculating the average direct and implied carbon intensity of unit output value,found that whether the 2.4551 tons/million average direct carbon emissions intensity or the 5.7094 tons/million average implicit carbon emissions intensity,Guizhou rank the first;（2）In this three provinces,whether the direct carbon emissions or implied carbon emissions,the proportion of second industry is the largest,and the difference is very large compared with the other two industry.Guizhou is more serious,the secondary industry’s direct and implicit carbon emissions proportion all more than 99%.2.The aspect of influence coefficient.（1）In terms of the influence coefficient of export products sector,Guizhou has 15 sectors which coefficient greater than 1 compare with other two provinces,mainly focused on the manufacturing industry in the second industry,the top three are: Manufacture of Electrical Machinery and Equipment,Manufacture of transportation Equipment,Production and Distribution of Gas;（2）Consider to implied carbon emissions influence coefficientof export products sector,Guizhou has 10 departments which coefficients greater than 1 compare with the other two provinces,and all of them are concentrated in the secondary industry.The implicit carbon emissions influence coefficient of Mining and Processing of Nonmetal Ores,Processing of Petroleum,Coking,Processing of Nucleus Fuel,Chemical industry occupy the top three.3.The aspect of sensitivity coefficient.（1）In terms of the sensitivity coefficient of export products sector,Guizhou,compared with the other two provinces,the number of sectors which coefficient greater than 1 is 9,all belong to the second industry,the top three are: Manufacture of Textile,Manufacture of others,Mining of Metal Ores;（2）Consider to implied carbon emissions sensitivity coefficient of export products sector,Guizhou,compared with the other two provinces,the number of sectors which coefficients greater than 1 is 7,and the top three are:Manufacture of others,Manufacture of Textile,Mining of Metal Ores.Based on the facts of above,if Guizhou wants to seek a low-carbon development path under the condition of trade liberalization,it can fully consider the level of the carbon emission correlation degree of each export sector,mainly concentration on the adjustment of export products structure,focusing on the organic integration of economic and industrial policy,strengthening the low-carbon management ability of export enterprises,cultivate new advantages in trade competition,and so on.
