| This thesis is manily about the design and synthesis of new ruthenium-arene complexes containing rigid or flexible ligands as protential anticancer drugs. All the new complexes are successfully obtained and characterized by ultraviolet spectrophotometry, fluorometric analysis, single X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis,1HNMR,circular dichroism spectrum,MTT and so on.Meanwhile, their DNA binding properties are also studied and discussed here.Firstly, the rigid aromaticity ligand Tetrapyrido[3,2-a:2’,3’-c:3",2"-h:2"’,3",-j]phenazine(tpphz)which is synthesized from the precursor compound 1,10-Phenanthroline was used for construction of two Ruthenium-arene complexes[(Cym)2Ru2(tpphz)Cl2]Cl2(2a)and[(Cym)2Ru2(tpphz)(NH3)2](PF6)4(2b).And its derivatives 4,5,9,18-Tetraazaphenanthreno[9,10-b]triphenylene(2c)and another compound 5,6-Dihydropyrazino[1.2.3.4-1mn]1,10-phenanthrolinilum dibromide(2d)were also studied. The circular dichroism results indicated that 2a/2b/2c show better G4-DNA/ct-DNA binding abilities than that of 2d.Secondly,the traditional flexible ligands containing 1,1 ’-((2,3,5,6-tetramethyl-1,4-phenylene)bis(methylene))bis(1H-imidazole)(p-bitmb),1,1’-((2,4,6-trimethyl-1,3-phenylene)bis(methylene))bis(lH-pyrazole)(m-bitmb)and 1,1’,1"-((2,4,6-trimethylbenzene-1,3,5-triyl)tris(methylene))tris(1H-imidazole)(t-bitmb)were used for the synthesis new ruthenium-arene complexes via a solvent-thermal method.A novel distinct crystal structure bearing the p-bitmb was successfully obtained, and interestly, the complex[{Ru(C10H14)}2(μ-Cl)3]PF6(3c)with ligand t-bitmb came out from the solvent-thermal process. In the end,we studied and discussed the physical properties of the compound(meso-tetra(4-imidazoyl)porphyrin(TImp).A single crystal of the TImp accompanied by Keggin polyacid which has a potential application in catalytic chemistry are also introduced. |
