As an intangible cultural heritage in Xinjiang,Atlas silk reflects the unique Uyghur aesthetic concept and enriches traditional Chinese handicrafts.It is the crystallization of the wisdom of Uighur folk artists.Atlas silk weaving as an important part of the subsidiary culture of China’s ethnic minorities has important artistic value and good prospects for development.However,due to the geographical location,traffic inconvenience,some barriers to language exchange and other factors,the majority of people Its understanding and understanding is not yet mature,for domestic designers,the application of high-level clothing did not get the attention and better reflect.Therefore,the purpose of this study is to explore and study Atlas silk weaving technology,pattern composition,process improvement and so on.At the same time,through repeated practice,we hope to get new vitality by combining with clothing,Heritage and development,while promoting the ethnic elements in the field of fashion design in China modernization.
