Purpose:To Observe the curative effect on function anorectal pain by electro-acupuncture and biofeedback therapies, then exploring the interaction between them.Material and method:This prospective factorial designed experiment selected 48 patients diagnosed with function anorectal pain, randomly divided into four groups, each group of 12 cases. Bath therapy applied to the control group and the other groups.Biofeedback group received biofeedback therapy, electro-acupuncture group used electro-acupuncture treatment, then electro-acupuncture associated with biofeedback group applied both biofeedback therapy and electro-acupuncture treatment. Each therapy daily for 1 times, 10 days for a session of treatment. Comparing the Symptom scores and psychological states before and after, observing total effect of each methods, to statistical analysis by the application SPSS 17.0 statistical software. Results: 1.The four groups in age, duration of treatment before attendance was no significant difference(P>0.05) were comparable. 2.After the intervention, the patient’s SAS and SDS integration was lower then before(P<0.05). 3.Each treatment was available. electro-acupuncture combined with biofeedback group was the best, which in turn was better than that of biofeedback, electrio-acupuncture group and the control group. Conclusion: 1.electro-acupuncture and biofeedback therapies were effective to treat function anorectal pain.2.Both treatments can improve mental state of anxiety, depression in patients with function anorectal pain. 3.electro-acupuncture and biofeedback therapies for functional anorectal pain had synergistic effect.
