| Objective: This study took the patients with primary insomnia as the object of observation, and considered the acupoint catgut embedding with cognitive behavioral therapy as the treatment, treating once every two weeks and every four weeks respectively, then evaluating the change of Pittsburgh scores(both the total and the main ingredients), sleep rate and clinical overall effect before and after the treatment, which provides the foundation for the clinical application of primary insomnia therapy in different intervals. Methods: 56 patients with primary insomnia who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups, the first treatment group(once every 2 weeks,n=26) and the second treatment group(once every 4 weeks, n=25).Two groups were both treated with acupoint catgut embedding with cognitive behavior therapy, the first treatment group were treated on the last day of the first week, the second week and the fifth week, once every 2 weeks, three times in total; the second treatment group were treated on the last day of the first week and the fifth week, once every 4weeks, 2 times in total. At the same time, two groups were both evaluated every 2weeks during the treatment, and also followed-up after 6 weeks until the end the treatment, then conducting the statistical analysis.Results:1.The comparison of PSQI total score and the main component score before treatment, p>0.05, there is not differences between two groups, the two had the same comparability.2.Comparing with pre-treatment, the PSQI total score and the main component score at the time of second week, fourth week and 2 weeks after the end of treatment,6 weeks follow-up, the difference is statistically significant(P < 0.05).3. Comparing with the second week : the score on the fourth week was declined, the difference is statistically significant(P < 0.05), and comparing with the fourth week : the score on the followed-up after 2 weeks was declined, the difference is statistically significant(P < 0.05). But there is no significant difference(p>0.05)between the followed-up after 2 weeks and 6 weeks.4.The comparison of the score between the two groups at different observationpoint, there is no significant differences(p>0.05).5.The comparison of the sleep rate, recovery rate and the total effect between two groups, there is no statistically significant difference(p>0.05),Conclusion:1.The acupoint catgut embedding combined with cognitive behavioral therapy is good for improving the symptoms of primary insomnia.2.There is no difference between two different intervals of treatment on improving the symptoms of primary insomnia, the results should expand the sample content for further verification.3.Two different treatment intervals maintain the same effect during the followed-up period. |
