Effect Of Ziqi Tongmai Decoction On Blood Glucose Shift And Inflammatory Factors In Patients With Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (yin Deficiency And Blood Stasis Syndrome)

Objective:Evaluate the influence of Yangyi Tongmai Yin on Type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with Yin deficiency and blood stasis syndrome’s Blood sugar drift and inflammatory factor,and to approach the mechanism preliminarily,and investigate the curative effect as well as the security.Methods:A randomized, parallel group trial was conducted,The 60 cases of type 2 diabetes patients with Yin deficiency and blood stasis syndrome were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.The control group was given lifestyle interventions and western conventional treatment (oral hypoglycemic drugs or insulin injection), while the treatment group received Yangyi Tongmai Yin on the basis of conventional therapy, and all patients were continuous treated and observed for 28 days.The change of laboratory indexes such as the largest amplitude of glycemic excursions,glycated hemoglobin, major inflammatory factors (CRP,IL-6,TNF-a)of the two groups were observed,and determined the efficacy combined with symptom integral.Results:1.Treatment and control groups of patients with gender,age,course of the disease,BMI (body mass index),as there was no significant statistical difference (P>0.05),are comparable.2. There was significant difference in the LAGE value of treatment group between before and after the treatment(P<0.01),the same as control group(P<0.05).Comparison between groups:The LAGE values were of no difference significance between groups before treatment,were comparable(P>0.05),and were significantly lower in the treatment group than in the control group after treatment(P<0.05).3. The HbAlc values were of no difference significance between groups before treatment,were comparable(P>0.05), and were significantly higher in the control group than in the treatment group after treatment(P<0.05). There was significant difference in the HbAlc values of both groups between before and after the treatment(P<0.01).4. Intra-group comparison about inflammatory factors:There were significant differences in the CRP and TNF-α values of treatment group between before and after the treatment(P<0.05),as well as the IL-6 (P<0.01),and there were no obvious differences in the control group between before and after the treatment(P>0.05).Comparison between groups:The CRP,TNF-a and IL-6 values were all of no difference significance between groups before treatment,were comparable(P>0.05).After treatment,the CRP values were significantly lower in the treatment group than in the control group (p<0.01),as well as IL-6 and TNF-a(P<0.05).Conclusion:Yangyi Tongmai Yin can effectively control blood sugar level of type 2 diabetic patients with Yin deficiency and blood stasis syndrome combined with western medicine therapy ways,and reduce blood sugar drift magnitude, as well as inflammatory cytokines, apply to type 2 diabetes patients with Yin deficiency and blood stasis syndrome who had wide fluctuations in blood glucose and (or)high inflammatory factor levels, safe and reliable clinical use, non-toxic side effects, it is safe,reliable clinical use and non-toxic side effects.
