Clinical Efficacy Of Leihuo Moxibustion Combined With Traditional Chinese Medicine In Treating Children With Repeated Respiratory Tract Infections

OBJECTIVE:This study observed the effects of thunder fire moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine group and traditional Chinese medicine group on the number of children with recurrent respiratory tract infection,the score of TCM syndrome and the effect of immune cytokines.It was suggested that oral administration is better than traditional Chinese medicine.It prepared the scheme of Thunder Fire Moxibustion Treatment of Recurrent Respiratory Tract Infection.This study provided new means for the intervention of external treatment of recurrent respiratory tract infection,enriched the traditional Chinese medicine treatment on recurrent respiratory tract infection and further improved the treatment efficiency of recurrent respiratory tract infection.Methods:66 cases of recurrent respiratory tract infection were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,33 cases in each group respectively.Treatment group was treated with thunder fire moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese Medicine treatment;while the control group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine treatment.The period of treatment was two months,with a six-month follow-up visit.Results:It finished 31 cases of remediation and 28 cases of follow-up visit in the treatment group;32 cases of remediation and 26 cases of followe-up visit in the control group.There was no significant difference in sex,age,morbidity,TCM syndromes,syndrome scores and immunecytokines in two groups before treatment.The effective rates were 89.29%and 80.77%in the treatment group and the control group respectively(P<0.05).At the end of treatment,the effective rates of TCM syndrome score were 87.10%and 75.00%in the treatment group and the control group respectively(P<0.05).At the six-month follow-up visit after the treatment,the effective rates of TCM syndrome score were 89.29%and 84.62%in the control group and the control group respectively(P<0.05).In comparison to the control group,the treatment group had advantages at the syndrome of sweating,less food,looking Shaohua,less gas lazy words,dry stool and loose stools thin symptoms for the lung and spleen qi deficiency type children(P<0.05).In the treatment group,there was an advantage in the treatment group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in improving the symptoms of hyperhidrosis,There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The level of IL-10 was increased and the level of IFN-y was decreased in the treatment group.The levels of IL-10 in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the levels of IFN-y were increased(P<0.01).Conclusion:Thunder fire moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine treatment of recurrent respiratory tract infection in children with lung and spleen deficiency can effectively reduce the number of respiratory infections and improve TCM syndrome,children’s physique and immunity.
