A Randomized Controlled Trial Of The Effects Of Electroacupuncture Depth And Meridian Sensation On Lumbar Disc Herniation

Objective:"Lumbar disc herniation five points" is the tutor for many years of clinical experience in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation experience points,but for acupuncture depth and meridian sensory research is still inperfect,this topic aims to"Lumbar disc herniation five points" treatment of lumbar disc herniation,comparing the efficacy of deep acupuncture and shallow acupuncture,to explore the different depths of the respective advantages of acupuncture.At the same time,through the different depths of acupuncturing "five points of lumbar disc herniation",we found different meridian points of meridian transmission,explore the relationship between acupuncture depth and meridian transmission,and further explore the relationship between the three:acupuncture depth-meridian transmission-efficacy.For the treatment of lumbar disc herniation to open up new ways for the clinical optimization of treatment programs to provide clues and basis.Method:Based on the RCT design method,this paper uses EA different deep of"lumbar disc herniation five points",combined with acupoint-located method by bone proportional Cun,further observed the difference of meridian transmission and to explore the correlation between meridian transmission and acupuncture depth.The results of JOA and VAS were used to evaluate the difference.By analyzing the meridian transmission and efficacy,to explore the correspondence between acupuncture depth and meridian transmission as well as the impact of lumbar disc herniation.Results:In the 60 cases,2 cases were lost and 2 cases were discontinued.The final data were analyzed in 56 cases,deep acupuncture group in 28 cases and shallow acupuncture group in 28 cases.The two groups of patients wereEA deep and shallow.The clinical efficacy of two different acupuncture treatments was evaluated by data analysis of JOA and VAS scores collected before and after 6 treatments.The data show that:1.In the deep acupuncture group of 28 patients,26 patients with clinical symptoms were improved tovarying degrees,the total effective rate was 92.86%,in the shallow acupuncture group of 28patients,18 patients with clinical symptoms were improved to varying degrees,the total effective rate reached 64.29%.Compared with pre-treatment data,VASand JOA scores were significantly different between the two groups after 6 treatments(P<0.05);2.Compared with the improvement rate of the two groups of treatment scores,the analgesic rate of the two groups was not statistically significant(t=1.969,P=0.054>0.05),the improvement rate was statistically significant(t=3.221,P=0.002<0.05);3.In "lumbar disc herniation five points",the most affected is the L5 point,respectively:pathologic classification(P=1.045<0.05)、associated symptoms(P=0.010<0.05)、disease staging(P=0.009<0.05);4.Through the group within the meridian transmission difference comparison,failed to find a single factor can affect the meridian transmission.But through theanalysis of the points mixed factors found,disease staging,pre-treatment JOA score,pre-treatment VAS score of these three confounding factors on the meridian sentimental distance has a positive impact in kinds of factors.Ecpecially disease staging may affect the important influencing factors of meridian transmission(P<0.05);5.By recording the deep acupuncture and shallow group meridian transmission points and the statistic depicts the chart of proportional structure,Itwas found that the meridian of the deep acupuncture group was far more than the shallow group,deep acupuncture group sensory effect points to reach the lateral malleolus,shallow group sensory effect points are more in the local vertebral body.Finally,combined with two groups of statistical analysis of the results,the deeper the depth of acupuncture,meridian transmission the more distant,the better the clinical efficacy.Conclusion:l.EA"lumbar disc herniation five points" treatment of lumbar disc herniation is effective;2.Deep acupuncture group is better than the effect of shallow group;3.In"lumbar disc herniation five points",the most affected is the L5 acupoint,respectively,pathological type,with symptoms,disease staging,the occurrence of phenomena is related to the physiological anatomical characteristics of this acupoint.4.pre-treatment JOA score,pre-treatment VAS score of these three confounding factors have a positive effect on the meridian transmission distance,in which the disease staging may be an important factor affecting the meridian transmission distance;5.The relationship between acupuncture depth,meridian transmission distance and clinical efficacy:the deeper the depth of acupuncture,meridian transmission the more distant,the better the clinical efficacy.
