With the development of economic society and the progress of scientific technology, people's work pressure is also growing.People's relaxation and sleep can't be well guaranteed due to the increase of work intensity and work pressure. The incidence of diseases associated with sleep is on the rise.In these diseases, the diagnosis and treatment for sleep apnea syndrome have become hot spots nowadays. At present, subjects' physiological parameters can be monitored for a long time by a kind of sleeping-breathing monitor when the subjects are in a peaceful slumber. The physiological parameters include ECG,EOQ snore, blood oxygen,EMG,etc. This way is clinically called the gold standard of detection of sleep apnea syndrome. It requires high testing costs, takes a long time for detection, and has an enormous amount of data to be measured and processed. At the same time, this way needs technical persons to detect and analyze data in specialized environment. What's more, patients will feel uncomfortable because of the existence of sensors which are found all over the body.In order to solve the problems above,a new method by adopting two crucial factors and initial screening of sleep apnea syndrome is proposed in this paper. The crucial factors refer to breath and blood oxygen saturation which are closely related to the occurrence of sleep apnea. The initial screening of sleep apnea syndrome uses BMI and snore as references in home environment. The proposed method can solve the problem of inconvenient detection of gold standard in current clinic.A single-lead ECG acquisition system and a blood oxygen saturation system are designed.Firstly, initial screening templates are extracted from single channel ECG of subjects by using the extraction algorithm of sleep respiration signals. Then blood oxygen saturation of subjects is detected by transmission oximeter. Finally, the initial screening of sleep apnea syndrome is achieved by a fusion algorithm which integrates extracted respiration, blood oxygen saturation,BMI and snore. At last, integration testing and debugging of initial screening system of household sleep apnea syndrome can be accomplished. The results show that the proposed algorithm about respiration signal extraction is appropriate and effective. On one hand, breathing events can be well extracted from single channel ECG.There are good consistencies between extracted respiration information and respiration wave curves measured by respiration sensors in judging whether subjects can breathe normally. Thus the algorithm can either be used to carry out first-stage diagnosis of respiration of subjects,or it can prevent subjects' discomfort happening. On the other hand, through transmittance oximetry, the blood oxygen saturation of subjects can be measured accurately and in real time, meanwhile the tightness of measurement can be adjusted. The overall operation of this system is stable.Multiple repeated experiments for 160 determine conditions have proved that the test results are exactly. In this way, sleep apnea syndrome can be well screened out preliminarily. This method applies to home and contributes to the timely discovery and further treatment of sleep apnea syndrome.
