The aggravating trend of aging population brings impact to the social development.The contradiction between the empty nest elderly and social endowment is becoming increasingly conspicuous.With the development of Internet of Things technology,the application of intelligent technology in the home care model has become an inevitable trend for solving the problem of China’s pension.At present,most of home care monitoring systems have single function,indoor positioning and automatic acquisition processing of conventional physiological data(such as:oxygen,blood glucose,blood pressure,pulse,etc.)are seldom applied in the home care monitoring system.In addition,the traditional wired monitor has numerous connections and large volume and complicated process of using deviece for the elderly,it is easy to bring greater psychological pressure to the elderly.Intelligent,humane and automation are the development trend of modern home care.Based on these reasons,the author’s research group has studied a home care monitoring system based on ZigBee.The system realizes the automatic acquisition,automatic monitoring and indoor positioning of medical informations for the elderly at home by wearing wrist watch,sending the collected physiological signals to the intelligent mobile phone or PAD by using wireless sensor network,then the elderly health care informations are sent to the guardian and remote medical unit through the network.This system integrates computer technology,wireless communication technology,data processing technology and medical sensor technology.Using the intelligent equipment terminal and medical care center to form the wireless monitoring network based on InternetIntelligent terminal and wearable multifunctional health monitoring terminal constitutes the sensor network based on ZigBee.The wireless monitoring network and the sensor network jointly set up a wireless communication network to complete the data transmissions of the physiological parameters and control command.Wearable multifunctional health monitoring terminal uses medical sensor and CC2530 to complete the real-time collection and transmission of physiological parameters of the elderly.The system is mainly composed of four parts:Wearable multifunctional health monitoring terminal,ZigBee local area network,intelligent terminal and remote monitoring center.Wearable multifunction health monitoring terminal collects the physiological parameters(such as pulse,blood oxygen,blood sugar,blood pressure,etc.)of the elderly through a variety of medical sensors,the collected informations are sent to the intelligent terminal.After a simple data processing,analysis,storage and other works,the intelligent terminal send the results to the monitoring center server.Then the professional medical staff observe and analyze the received basic data.The system can shorten the distance between the elderly and the nursing staff,reduce the commute time of the patients or medical staff.The system can realize the remote real-time monitoring of important physiological parameters for the elderly.The monitoring data can be used as a means of auxiliary diagnosis for the medical staff,it can also provide timely and accurate alarm when the emergency situation occur on the elderly.
