| Purpose:The aim of this study was to investigate the distribution of TCM syndromes of diabetes mellitus with cognitive dysfunction,and to analyze the influencing factors of type 2diabetes mellitus with cognitive dysfunction,which can provide reference for clinical syndrome differentiation.Material and method : According to the 1999 World Health Organization(WHO)recommended diabetes classification and diagnostic criteria,randomized into hospitalized type 2 diabetes in 124 cases.It was divided into 63 cases of diabetic cognitive impairment group and 61 cases of diabetes non-cognitive disorder group by according to the assessment criteria of MMSE and Mo CA.Based on "Chinese medicine diagnosis" 7 version of the main textbook,and in 2002 with reference to the 2002 "Chinese medicine new drug clinical research guidelines(trial)" and issued in 2005,"Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment of diabetes standards",complete diagnostic data of patient was collected,in order to evaluate the syndromes of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with cognitive dysfunction by dialectical diagnosis of diabetic patients with cognitive dysfunction.Statistical analysis was used to compare the general data and clinical data of the two groups,and according to the MMSE,the correlation between the CI influencing factors of T2 DM and the cognitive function was analyzed.Results:1.Type 2 diabetes mellitus with cognitive dysfunction in patients with syndromes to blood stasis type mostly,a total of 25 cases,accounting for 39.7%,followed by other syndrome for the heart and spleen deficiency type,hot and humid spleen type,Yin Huo-wang,Two deficiency type,yin and yang deficiency type,liver and kidney deficiency type.Accounting for 17.5%,12.7%,12.7%,9.5%,4.8% and 3.2% respectively.2.The age,course of disease,glycosylated hemoglobin and uric acid in T2 DM patients with cognitive dysfunction were significantly higher than those without diabetes mellitus,and the years of education were significantly lower than those of diabetic non-cognitive dysfunction group(NCI),and the incidence of complications was significantly higher than that of NCI group(P <0.05).Besides the cognitive function was negatively correlated with the course of disease,Hb A1 c,TG and UA combined with lower extremity arteriosclerosis.On the contrary,it was positively correlated with the years of schooling.Conclusion:1.Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome of type 2 diabetes mellitus with cognitive dysfunction is mainly caused by blood stasis.2.The greater the age of type 2 diabetes,the course of disease,the education,the Hb A1 c,TG and UA and the other complicationsin are important influencing factors of cognitive dysfunction. |
