OBJECTIVESWith the continuous progress of cataract surgery instruments and surgical methods, phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation have been considered as the most ideal surgical methods. However, the postoperative complications do not disappear with the operation mode, and the postoperative non infectious inflammatory reaction is almost manifested in every postoperative disease. At the same time, posterior capsule opacification after cataract surgery also troubled cataract patients, resulted in a second decrease in vision.Glucocorticoids and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are the first drugs to control non infectious inflammation after cataract surgery, but the side effects of these drugs can not be ignored. The study on the control of posterior capsule opacification after cataract surgery has never been interrupted. The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine on non infectious inflammation after cataract surgery and its effect on posterior capsule protection. At the same time, the evaluation criteria of the OCT for the posterior capsule were evaluated.METHODThe random control method was used to select 62 cases of senile cataract phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation(Phaco+IOL)in the ophthalmology of Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from December 2016 to July 2017.The patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, and the two groups were comparable. The experimental group:second days after the operation, according to the four diagnosis of the patients, the prescription granules were added, and the local anti infection treatment of Tobramycin and Dexamethasone Ophthalmic Suspension was combined.2 weeks of Chinese medicine is the 1 course of treatment, with a total of 2 courses. The eye drops for 6 weeks were 1 courses, with a total of 1 courses. The observation time of non infectious inflammation in anterior chamber was 2 weeks, and the posterior capsule observation time was 3 months. There were 55 effective cases, including 27 in the experimental group and 28 in the control group.RESULTS1 After 2 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of non infectious inflammation in the experimental group was 92.6%,the total effective rate of the control group was 85.7%.The total effective difference of the two groups had significant statistical significance(p<0.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group.2 The two groups in 3,7,14 days after 3,7,14 days to reduce the sum of symptoms and signs have a significant significant statistical significance(p<0.05),and the same change trend, and the experimental group after treatment compared with the control group has a larger change, but the two groups showed 3 days and 7 days of medication group changes are not too obvious.3 The scores of symptoms and signs of the two groups were compared after 14 days of treatment. The results of Mann-Whitney U test showed that the improvement of total integral and anterior chamber buoyancy in the experimental group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).There was no significant difference in other results between the experimental group and the control group(p>0.05).There was no significant difference in visual acuity between the two groups(p>0.05).4 Compared with the control group, three months after operation were compared. It was found that there were 3 cases of the posterior capsule of the experimental group at level 1 and above, all of which were grade 1.In the control group, there were 5 cases with the cysts at the level 1 and above, including 4 cases in grade 1 and 1 in grade 2.It was found that there was significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(p<0.05).After 1 month and 3 months after surgery, the OCT score was compared in the experimental group and the control group. After mann-whitney U test, the experimental group was better than the control group in the experimental group compared with the control group,Significant statistical difference(p<0.05).CONCLUSIONS1 Self-made Chinese medicine combined with tobramycin dexamethasone is effective in the treatment of non-infectious inflammation after cataract surgery, and is more effective than tobramycin dexamethasone alone, especially in the improvement of anterior chamber plankton. The efficacy is worth further exploration.2 Based on the Kruge posterior capsular turbidity grading criteria, the conclusions are as follows:Chinese medicine has certain curative effect on the control of posterior capsular opacification after cataract surgery, and according to the OCT anterior segment photography criteria for the posterior capsule evaluation also reached this conclusion,so you can It is believed that traditional Chinese medicine has a certain effect on the control of posterior capsular opacification after cataract surgery. At the same time,it can be preliminarily considered that the OCT anterior segment photography has certain reference value for the evaluation criteria of posterior capsule, and the specific results need to be further proved by experiments.
