Investigation And Analysis Of The Current Situation Of The Chinese Language School In Surabaya, Indonesia

Through reviewing the relative literatures and make a field trip, the author gets toknow the present development of Chinese Tuition centers in Surabaya. And at thesame time taking Elyon Mandarin Course (EMC) as an example to make a detailedsurvey and analysis, the writer collects and sorts the information of EMC’s history,and especially analyzes the present situation of EMC’s faculties, students, culturalorientation and physical infrastructure. After pointing its advantages and shortages ofits further development, the author gives some suggestions that he can collect with thehope that which is helpful to EMC’s better development. As the EMC is one of therepresentative Chinese Tuition centers in Surabaya, on one hand, introducing thepresent situation of Chinese Tuition centers of Surabaya is helpful to let the studentsand teachers of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages know more specificinformation about Surabaya’s Mandarin studying and teaching; on the other hand,they can adjust their studying and teaching to meet needs of Chinese teaching inSurabaya.
