Analysis And Countermeasures Of The Current Situation Of Chinese Teaching In Phrae Vocational And Technical College Of Thailand

China and Thailand are friendly neighbors for thousands of years.Thailand has become one of contries with the largest number of Chinese language learners,because of the currently Thailand`s rapid development of Chinese education,but Northern Thailand is a relatively poor region,there is still a long way for improvement of the level and quality of Chinese language teaching.The author used the opportunity of volunteer teacher practice in Thailand,through questionnaires and classroom observation of Payao professional technical college,detailed investigations,combined with own experience of Chinese language teaching,summed up the school characteristics,advantages and disadvantages of Chinese teaching,according to the theory of Chinese teaching and made specific recommendations for improvements,aimed to provide information of the present situation of Chinese teaching at professional colegges in Thailand for researchers,hopes to help to spread Chinese culture in Thailand,from volunteering in Chinese language teaching program to provide some useful information.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter explains the purpose and significance of research,research methods and research aspects in details.The second chapter explains the overview of the Current Situation of Chinese Teaching at Phayao technical College,there are four main aspects: the curriculum of teaching arrangements,the situation of learning Chinese,Chinese language teachers and Chinese teaching methods.The third chapter is set up by five points of view:Thailand`s Chinese language education policy,Chinese teachers teaching abilities,selection of textbooks and students attitudes towards learning,noted that the current school situation still have some problems connected with the teaching of Chinese.The fourth chapter is made from the author`s own teaching practice,combined with teaching theory,targeted to improve the current situation of Chinese teaching,proposed some strategies,including complete Chinese education policy,to formulate a unified curriculum,strengthen Chinese teachers construction,improve the quality of teachers,improve the relevance and usefulness of the preparation ofteaching materials and teaching skills.It`s also section with new poin of view in this paper.Fifth chapter includes a summary of the entire paper.Points out,that this teaching strategy should combine theory and practice,teaching and learning on the basis of the combination.Innovation of this paper is a survey of present situation of Chinese teaching at at Thailand Phayao technical college,including the school’s Chinese language teaching arrangements,the situation of students,which learn Chinese,Chinese teachers and language teaching methods.This reseach is limited by time and scope of proposed teaching recomendations are not comprehensive enough.
