| In recent years, along with the development of cities and the transformation of labor force in China, the amount of floating people is zooming up. What’s more, more and more floating children have to move with their parents. They are a special group and it’s difficult for their healthy development because of moving places, tough studying and living environment, unstable relationship and so on. However, there are some children well adapt to such tough circumstances. It means some children have psychological resilience. Therefore, research on the positive aspects and psychological mechanism in adversity is magnificent, not only for the development of floating children, but also the practice of crisis prevention. This research is on the basis of current documents, combined with questionnaire and random interview. From the aspects of current circumstances, protecting factors, dangerous factors and the relationship of self-esteem, it’s exploring the floating children’s psychological resilience in elementary school.Summarize this research, it mainly comes to the following conclusion.(1) There are significant differences of psychological resilience between floating children and non-floating children in elementary school. Overall, floating children are lower than non-floating children.(2) Through the comparing of demographic variables indicates that the floating children’s psychological resilience in elementary school girls are higher than boys. Owing to different factors as different grades, the floating children from the only-child families are higher than who are from the families have more than one child.(3)The external dangerous factors influencing the floating children’s psychological resilience in elementary school include:bad living environment(including bad family economic conditions, a big family, small house, lower education communication relationship, lack of community resources); undesirable family education(including parents’ low educational experiences, disharmonious marriage, simple and crude educational methods, less communication between children and parents). The external protective factors include the high participation in family matters, favorable school environment and the support form society (mainly from the school). The main internal factor to influence their psychological resilience is child’s self-esteem.(4) The transformation of environment influences the floating children’s psychological resilience and self-esteem directly and indirectly, and the indirect way is the main method. The impact of self-esteem will influence the impact of psychological resilience as the result of environment transforming. The floating children’s self-esteem could predict their development on psychological resilience. |
