Mo Yan's Novel Study Of Folklore

In this paper,the author studied the folk character of Mo Yan's literatures.Mo Yan is a famous writer,Noble prize winner,who regarded “ writing as a common people” as the key of the literary creation.Mo Yan put forward the theory of “ writing as a commonpeople”,with gradual formation of his creation style in the field of literary.So the first part of the thesis is about the folk character of Mo Yan's novels.The theory is different from the art circles advocating “for the people writing” to reflect the realistic pseudo folk writing of the top-down.Mo Yan regarded himself as a common people,his literatures in essence are true refection of a common people's social reality.He thought that only literary creators put themselves in the folk position,can truly reflect the folk themes and write a high degree of realistic works.The second part of the paper probes into the folk cultural form and aesthetic expression.In the process of his literature creation,he relied on the realistic expression to not only reflect the true face of GaoMi city ShanDong province but also depended on symbolic expression to present realistic literary elements of not really existing in reality.Through his superb literary performance,Mo Yan's literatures show readers a few real reality elements,which are not ample,but include many elements of a high degree of realistic value.Thus he realized the literary ideas of literature reflecting reality as well as above reality.The last part of this paper focus on inheritance and reflection of folk narrative.In his early writing,Mo Yan once referred many writing methods of western modern literature.In the process of literary creation,through the deep understanding of skills and the study of the literary creation theory,Mo Yan considered that only using Chinese tradition to reflect Chinese realistic literatures,can write works with deep thoughts.Therefore,with reference to some theories and techniques of western modern literature,Mo Yan combined the main methods of literary creation with Chinese traditional art and formed a unique style in literary creation.
