Since ancient times,The government of Wuchang occupies an important position in the country’s politics and economy.Meanwhile,It also brings Wuchang culture to flourish.Based on the political and economic background of Wuchang government,this paper explores the development characteristics of the literature of Wuchang in Ming Dynasty.The thesis takes the Wuchang writers in Ming Dynasty as the research object.The author try to delay giving a comprehensive study of writers in Ming Dynasty.This article is based on the author’s life and literary works,it is hoped that through the study of a single writer to show the characteristics of the development of Wuchang literature in Ming Dynasty.Through the search of local history,literature,literary works and other data collection,the author found a total of 179 people in Wuchang in Ming Dynasty,there are 15 kinds of poem collection,According to these data,the author makes an investigation.There is an introduction part in this paper,The introduction mainly introduces the history of Wuchang,the geographical environment of Wuchang,and the cultural tradition of Wuchang,and the research objectives,research significance and the research status of Wuchang writers,The content of the text is to investigate the writer in chronological order.The first chapter is the introduction to the writers from Hong Wu to Tianshun.During this period,there were writers who were from the Yuan Dynasty,besides other writes like Yang Bing and Wang Hong.The literature of this period has been affected by the secretariat style,On the other hand,the writer’s poetry also touches on the level of real life,But more is the expression of personal feelings.The second chapter is the introduction to the writers from Chenghua to Zhengde years.In the early Ming Dynasty,rulers make great efforts.then the Ming Dynasty rulers began to show off,The writers lost faith in the rulers,some writer uses seclusion ways to express their inner anguish.Li Chengji and Li Chengfang are writer’s representatives of this period,The rulers have no regard for Liao Daonan who has toward the offocer.Therefore,the development of literature in this period is slow.The third chapter is the writers in the years of Jiajing.During this period,a large number of scholars and writers have been created,Representative writers have Liu Jingshao,Wei Shang,Wu Guolun,Zhu Tingli,Fang Fengshi,and Feng Shiyong.Theliterature of the period was influenced by the seven,So this period writers have disadvantages of simulation.This period is the most prosperous period of the Ming Dynasty Wuchang literature.The fourth chapter is the writers from LongQin to Chongzhen.Although this period has reached the end of the Ming Dynasty,it is the prosperous period of the development of Wuchang literature.At this time,the "Jiayu four talents" and "Jiangxia four",Wang Yingdou,Dong Xian,Deng Shiliang and other representatives of the writers began to appear.These writers have gone through the process of the Ming Dynasty from prosperity to decline,the background of times triggers the inner feelings and creats valuable works.Moreover,many of these writers have the experience of the army,the border scenery into poetry is characteristic of this period.The fifth chapter introduces the late Ming Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty writer.The writers of this period mainly lived in the Nanming Dynasty.The writer has gone through the changes of the times,Literary creation has entered a recession.So,the number of writers and works is very small in this period,the representative writers are Meng Zhengfa,Feng Zhitu,Zhou Liaoxu.The sixth chapter is about the family writers of Wuchang in Ming Dynasty,including Wang’s family and Meng’s family.Wang’s family continues from the Song Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty,made great achievements in literature.Although everyone’s works are preserved in the Meng’s family,the number of works retained very little.The seventh chapter is the introduction of Shi Ruyu who is a Buddhist monk writer and Hu Wenru who is a female writer.Because of their unique identity,so They were put in a independent chapter.This is a major feature of Wuchang literature.
