Yang Lan's Study Of Language Style

In history of modern and contemporary literature,there was an old man who used drama to comfort trapped island’s people in Shanghai when she was young.She concentrated on classics translation in middle age.She introduced excellent western literary works to China and became a "bridge" between Chinese and western cultural communication.In her later period,she experienced closed people who died,rise and fall in career.Later,she turned to write novel and prose.The scholar,writer and translator focused on an old man who was Yang Jiang.In different ages,Yang Jiang had different works.Due to her unique temperament,unique life experience,Chinese and western culture,all of these affected her work’s language.The study about Yang Jiang’s works in civil,they concentrated on a certain style and writing theory etc.This article will follow the four different style of Yang Jiang’s works.Analysis the language style of works and in contrast to Wang Wenxian,Qian Zhongshu and Chen Baichen’s works.We find out the language’s uniqueness and convergence in.the works of Yang Jiang.This paper has three parts which consist of introduction,text and epilogue.The introduction,first to define the concept of "language style",then introduce to Yang Jiang,her works and the existing research.This article’s the purpose,the method and the content.The text divide into four chapters.The first chapter comb the different literary genre in different ages,reveal the language style of all kinds of her works.In the second chapter,There are three kinds of representation in Yang Jiang’s work:ordinary citizen,intellectuals,urban women(wives),we can get colloquial style which is connectivity style in Yang Jiang’s works.In the third chapter,I select Yang Jiang’s teacher,husband and a writer who had the same experience which go to countryside.I compare three person’s works to Yang Jiang’s works.We can find the uniqueness of Yang Jiang’s language style.The fourth chapter discusses the subjective and objective reasons of Yang Jiang language style form.Conclusion summarized the uniqueness of Yang Jiang language style.
