In recent years,with the development of sports dance competition,they have became an important part in our daily life.Socially,they have emerged in the form of the private classes,training courses,training institutions,clubs,the form of training schools,which offered approaches for those who want to join.For those who major in sports and dance,they can get access to them in school officially.But for non-majors,they can barely get access to formal courses of sports and dances.Now the physical quality of college students is a downward trend year by year,to explore the relation between sports and college students' physical quality is also have realistic demand.Self-efficacy is a belief for students to be capable of organization and execution to reach a certain achievements.It plays an important role among university students who are in the key stage to shape their mental development,while how to choose sports items and how they treat self-efficacy are deeply affecting their mental development.This articles aims at studying how cha-cha,as a form of sports,affecting university students who are non-major of sports and dance on the basis of putting sports dance as a sports.This article will study the effect of cha-cha on university students' self-efficacy and physical quality with the independent variable of 12-week medium intensity cha-cha courses.Attendants are from four usual classes of Yangzhou university who will take a 90-minute cha-cha class twice a week and will last for 12 weeks.We will apply self-efficacy scale and physical test items to do quantitative evaluation.There are four theories:Questionnaire survey method,Method of literature,Mathematical statistics,analysis.We will mainly observe the effect of 12-week medium intensity cha-cha on students in three aspects:(1)the effect of 12-week medium intensity cha-cha on self efficacy of university students;(2)the difference analysis of self efficacy between male and female students who are affected by the 12-week medium intensity cha-cha;(3)the effect of 12-week medium intensity cha-cha on physical quality in physical fitness test for university students.By means of literature review and questionnaires,and the results of the statistical analysis to draw the conclusion as:(1)There is an obvious effect of 12-week medium intensity cha-cha on self efficacy of university students.And the male students is much more obvious than female students.(2)There is an obvious effect of 12-week medium intensity cha-cha on standing long jump of university students.(3)There is an obvious effect of 12-week medium intensity cha-cha on sit and reach of university students.(4)There is not an obvious effect of 12-week medium intensity cha-cha on 50 meters results of university students.(5)There is an obvious effect of 12-week medium intensity cha-cha on female students 800 andmale students 1000 meters results of university students.Suggestion:In the sports and health courses and added in the sports activity is just dance and other arts' learning project,rich course content of the project;When teachers in preparing,should embody the male,the female student's individual differences;Modest increase flexibility in physical education,physical exercise and relaxation stretching exercises,enriching the content of physical exercise;Pay attention to teachers' guidance and feedback in the process of learning;Cooperation,communication and getting along with people as college sports and health course and sports activity of one of the teaching goal.
