Violin is the most important and widely used bowed string instrument in the violin family of of western art music.The time of violin was introduced to China can be dated back to Kangxi Dynasty(1699),but it was widely applied too daily music performance and entertainment life gradually with the establishment of professional instrumental music performance system until 1920 s.Since from the foundation of new China,China’s violin music art has developed and experienced three historical periods: 1.In early years of the new nation,with “Step out and bring in” as the development strategy,the government has deployed young students at state expenses to abroad learning violin performance,and also hired foreign well-known violin performers giving lectures in China so as to improve China’s violin professional players’ performance level;2.The time of twenty years after “the Cultural Revolution” was the second important historical period for the development of China’s violin music art,as well as a critical period for the localization and nationalization of violin music art.A large amount of violin works with strong national style have emerged during this period.Orientation of music creation has promoted the intensive development of the localization and nationalization of violin playing techniques.3.After entering into 1990 s,with the widely application of western modern music creation techniques in China’s modern and contemporary composers’ works,diversified characteristics of Chinese-western fusion have showed up in the technicality and skill of China’s violin performing practice.With “national elements in violin performing practice” as the title,this article tries to make in-depth summary and conclusion of national performing techniques and skills in China’s modern violin playing through the analysis on technical key points and difficulties of violin performing practice in Chinese style works since from 1980 s.Combine with basic characteristics of China’s music,propose relevant specific operating and training methods of different performing techniques and skills in different music clips.Based on this,establish theoretical illustration about the national elements of violin performing practice.This article is divided into three major chapters.Firstly,the first chapter has made a concrete arrangement and introduction of violin’s fundamental characteristics,general technical features of performance and its development history in China.Secondly,as the core part of this article,the middle three chapters have specifically divided national elements in violin performing practice into three aspects: sound chamber,mode and melody,rhythm and beat,and then provided detailed analysis and explanation through specific performing examples in two chapters.At last,the final part has summarized and concluded the technical characteristics of the three aspects.Thus,the article hopes to provide references for modern violin art education and the development of nationalization of violin.
