On Friedrich's Romantic Landscape

This paper analyzes the development background of German romanticism from the perspective of social history,thought history and national politics,and explores the development background of German romanticism in the view of 18 years old and early19 th century romantic master Caspar David Friedrich’s landscape painting The general characteristics of romantic landscape painting.As a representative painter of the German romantic landscape,Frederick,in the second chapter of this article,analyzes the characteristics of the romantic landscape of the master from the spiritual connotation and the picture form language,and appreciates the scenery works of Caspar,The meaning of "divine nature".Casper David Friedrich’s landscapes use symbolic techniques to explain religious doctrines,expressing religious devotion and reverence for nature.Mystery and loneliness of the show,so that his works like a poet touched the viewer.In the subject matter and formal language,the author from the subject matter,light,composition,continue to broaden the understanding of Friedrich’s romantic landscape.Friedrich as the western romantic landscape development of the spiritual ties for the Western romanticists to provide aesthetics and painting expressions and other aspects of the relevant inspiration.This paper analyzes the artistic influence of Friedrich ’s romantic landscape painting on future generations,and expounds its inspiration to my spiritual emotion and painting,which is the most representative of Carus and Richter.This paper analyzes and summarizes the romantic landscape of Germany by using Frederick ’s romantic landscape painting,and tries to make sense of the works of German painting by interpreting Caspar’s romantic landscape works,And even the Western romantic landscape painting in order to provide a new exploration for the landscape learners clues.
