The Main Ideological Connotation And Singing Treatment Research Of Schubert's Art Songs

Influenced by Romanticism,the song cycle named Winterreise is an important work of Schubert.Before analyzing the Winterreise,we cannot ignore the background of creating this work.And the creation of Winterreise was been influenced greatly by Schubert’s personal experience and the development of romanticism in the field of music.Only in this basis can we explore the cultural connotations of this music,grasp the singing skills better and make further efforts to represent the thought and emotion of Winterreise properly.In view of these questions,this paper divides into the following several parts to discuss.The first part is about Schubert himself and his art songs.This part mainly introduces Schubert’s life experience and analyzes the concept of art songs and its development briefly.There are several artistic characteristics of Schubert the song cycle Winterreise: 1)the combination of German and Austria folk music style;2)the combination of poetry and melody;3)the music conception created by pianoforte accompaniment.The second part is about the main idea of the Winterreise.After a detailed analysis of the text and Schubert’s life experience as well as the social and political background,main connotation of the Winterreise can be summarized as follows: 1)the pursuit of freedom and democracy against the repression of autocracy;2)the loss of love and the accompanying loneliness;3)the searching for the meaning of life.The third part is the singing techniques.In order to make it more accurate to express the richness and exquisites,singing skills is essential.by repeated listening to every master singing and considering the music and words,this paper has sum up several aspects need to pay attention to in the process of singing: 1)to focus on the lyrical songs;2)to grasp the pronunciation of German voice accurately;3)to pay attention to the variety of melody and timbre;4)to focus on the piano accompaniment and singing.By understanding and grasping the characteristics of Schubert’s art songs,singer can not only have a deep understanding on the Winterreise,but also perform it better and make it flash its dazzling brilliance.
