As a teaching strategy,questioning has been widely used in the teaching of TCSOL,as well as in the teaching of English and Chinese.At present,the study mainly focus on the questioning in the language teaching,only few people pay attention to the questioning in the culture teaching.In the context of promoting Chinese language and improving the soft power,it is of great significance to apply the questioning strategy to the practice of Chinese cultural teaching.After a questionnaire on the cultural teaching in the advanced class,we find that it is necessary to set up the course of Chinese culture.However,there are many problems in the teaching content,teaching methods and classroom roles of teachers and students.At present,questioning is widely used in the cultural teaching,but in the types of questions,the content of the questions,the scope of the questions,the teacher's feedback,there is room for improvement.The objectives,contents and characteristics of the cultural teaching determine that the traditional teaching methods can not meet the needs.The advantages of questioning in the culture class also proved that it can improve the teaching results in the domestic culture class.According to the 5C standard and the analysis to the Dragon Boat Festival culture teaching case,the thesis proposes measures about how to use questioning in advanced Chinese culture class,including questioning strategy,questioning content,the principles and the teacher's feedback.The thesis also make a teaching design for China Overview.At last,the thesis discusses how to cultivate the questioning consciousness and the questioning ability.
