On The Paper - Three-dimensional Book Design Exploration

With the development of society and the progress of human beings,books are constantly changing,book design has not only confined to the carrier as the information transmission,and gradually regarded as a kind of plastic arts.Book design now began to pay more attention to the readers of sensory and psychological experience,in the form of more integrated into the three-dimensional model,the book design reached a stunning visual multidimensional,created more can transmit the information,has the artistic value and collection value of the pop-up books.Pop-up book design not only broaden the market of books,to some extent for the traditional books of innovation and development to find another way to the Chinese book market and readers have had an impact.This paper analyzes the characteristics and significance of the pop-up books,focuses on the pop-up book form,design elements and factors affecting the design of pop-up books were studied,and the author’s own graduation design works to demonstrate,hope that the research results of this paper to others pop-up books design and research to provide some help and inspiration.
