In the 20 th century,memory theory pushed the concept of memory into the field of culturology.Scholars had a new theoretical perspective to examine the role of memory in constructing individual and collective identity.Nostalgic trends bring 20 th century literary love letters to the public visual field,and every conscious individual is happy to talk about it.The memory problem is a intersection between theory and life.The spread and preservation of memory has its own specific mechanism,and The construction of memory also has the contest of many forces.The thinking and research on memory is just for exploring the significance of perceiving time for individual existence and social construction.Starting with the relationship between memory and text,this essay is based on the memory theory of Assmann couple and the love letter written by scholars such as Xu Zhimo,Zhu Xiang,Lu Yin,Xiao Hong,Zhu Shenghao and Wen Yiduo in the1920 s and 1930 s As the object of study,analyzing the memories and functions of the literati in these love letter texts is one way of thinking.Considering the texts of the literati love letter as a kind of reminiscence of the contemporary memory community which is to be constructed,it is the second thought to explore the connection between the construction of emotional memory and the identity of the contemporary youth group.The thesis is divided into three chapters,which respectively discuss the relationship between memory theory and literary love letters,the function of memory in love letters and the possibility and significance of literary love letters as emotional memory.The first chapter focuses on the "objective" structure of love letter text,While explaining the love letter text as the memorizing memory advantage,it also pays attention to the specific culture and the contemporary context of the research object,and shows the richness of the research object in the memory type.In the second chapter,through the analysis of literati love letters,it explores how the two forces of memory and forgetting in time flow cope with the identification of individuals and groups and the interaction of personal and collective memories within the framework of social memory.In the third chapter,we think about the phenomenon of fragmentation and recall of loving memories in the digital era and the phenomenon of identity crisis of young people by analyzing the context of contemporary,discussing the power of consumerism,mass media,urban culture in shaping the memory,fromthe daily life of the aesthetic,the memory of the three dimensions of community responsibility and nostalgia to assess the meaning of the memory.
