The document research of Shiji before 30th anniversary of the foundation of the New China,which derive from textual research of Qing dynasty and the Republic of China and also combine with the research of Shiji under new comprehensive prosperity period,it’s a transitional period.Meanwhile,an important period for the breakthrough in document research of Shiji.The achievements in document research of Shiji before 30th anniversary of foundation of the New China which include three research papers,ten modern annotations,two reference books and twenty five articles in total.Although the achievement for the current period is less,it’s vital to the document research.First of all,In the bibliography and edition research filed,The version parts of The research data and papers index of Shiji which compiled by Institute of History Research of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences is a complete version of Shiji’s directory in the early history of research.Shiji ’s Directory is the first version of research paper in both domestic and abroad research filed.it’s a breakthrough in traditional research method which pay more attention to the connection between versions.it’s a breakthrough in ShiJi’s directory research.Besides,In the punctuations collation research field,The ShiJi from Zhong Hua Shu Jv’s revised edition in 1959 which is textual criticism of the nucleus since thousand years ago.It also use the new punctuation which is significant milestone in punctuation collating of Shiji.Next,In the annotation research field,represented by selected records of Wang Boxiang,a batch of modern annotation of Shiji have sprung up in New China.The purpose of the batch of annotated shiji is popularized,which present a very different from old appearance style,set the precedent for modern translation.Finally,in the source of historical data research field,The Jin Dejian’s "The research of sima qian’s book" exploit new research filed for source of historical data of Shiji and established the basic direction for source of historical data in the future,which have significant impact on document research of Shiji.
