On The Conflict And Coordination Between The Privacy Rights Of Public Figures And The Public's Right To Know In China

With the comprehensive construction of a well-off society,the public awareness of the protection of personal privacy has been greatly improved,but at the same time,there is a strong interest in the privacy of others,especially the public figures.Compared to the general public,public figures have a higher social status and reputation,they can obtain higher profits,as the cost of their privacy will be more limited,the media exposure has the obligation of tolerance in a certain range of their privacy.The news media reports,has become one of the main ways for citizens to exercise their right to know,to satisfy the curiosity of the public,improve the "ratings","Circulation" in the public figures reported,the emergence of a large number of violations of the right to privacy of public figures,the privacy right of public figures and the public right to know the conflicts,based on the study on the conflict of the right.This paper first introduces the research background and significance of the research,the academic circles at home and abroad,from the "public figures","public figures privacy","right to know" and other basic concepts that the privacy of public figures and the public right to know the underlying causes of conflict;secondly,the specific provisions on the coordination of conflict of rights and the idea of foreign it is expounded,so as to draw excellent experience;again in the current stage of China's current legislation on the right of privacy and the public right to know public figures to illustrate the analysis,and put forward the problems;finally,based on the proposed problems,the coordination of our public figures privacy and the public right to know the basic principles of conflict should follow,puts forward suggestions and Countermeasures to coordinate the conflict of rights from the legislation,judicial and social way of three ways.
