After World War II,due to the stable economic and social development of European countries,especially those of Western Europe,the high level of social welfare,unique geographical location and geopolitical characteristics,Europe became the one of the main destinations of emigrates from countries of Asia,Africa and even most of the third world.In recent years,some countries in West Asia and North Africa continue to unrest in unstable political and social situations.A large number of people flee from the motherland and hometown for various reasons,and enter the Europe territory through land or maritime border by unconventional means.This phenomenon is often referred to "Europe's refugee problem" and the influx of "refugees" is expected to remain so for a long time yet to come.In this context,the number of immigrants from foreign countries in Europe,especially the number of unconventional immigrants,has exploded.And the impact on European politics,economy,society,culture and security is becoming more and more evident.In general,the influx,reception and integration of refugees have become one of the most difficult problems that the European countries will not avoid to face.The author elaborates the current situation and causes of the refugee problem in Europe,clarifies the misunderstanding of the refugee problem and analyzes the impact of the refugee problem on the European countries and on the common refugee and immigration policy in Europe,predicts the future direction of development of the European common refugee and immigration policy.It can be said that in the face of the turbulent refugee problem,the European countries should cooperate in the framework of the EU for the common policies and measures,and actively coordinate cooperation with foreign countries.This may be the only problem-solving "bitter medicine."...
