The policy of Reform and opening up is a comprehensive transform happened in China, which has reshaped the intrinsic political, economical, social relationships.Existing social class structure has been pushed to be fragmented and demoralized into a new social class structure.Chinese peasant class,as a group with the largest population in China, has been the major stratification matrix and it is significant to study the stratification of Chinese peasant class. This paper has analyzed the stratification of Chinese peasant class since the Reform and Opening Up from the angle of motivation, holding that it is the government, the market and the one itself that conducts the stratification. The policy adjustment of government has started the stratification, and the Resource allocation of market has activated the potential of the stratification, and the one involved has deepened it.The unique path of the trinity including the government, the market and the one itself has driven the stratification of the peasant in multi-aspect and multi-angle ways, and also made the relationships within class and between classes more and more intense. As a result, making effective social integration and adjusting class relationships to reshape a better social structure is the essence of regulating the stratification of Chinese peasant class.
