The Soviet educator Sukhomlinskii said: “Community is the tool for education.Community is a common thought,emotion,action groups,it can also be said that is a kind of cohesion,this force is advantageous to the formation of collective idea,it is an invisible force,can stimulate the laggards in power and instill affects every member of the collective.So the teachers want to educate the students,first they have to form the team and the class cohesion,so that they can make use of the collective power to educate the students.In addition,with the further implementation of quality education,class management and educational environment have to be improved accordingly.This research takes 12 classes selecting from 4 junior middle schools of a district in Dalian city as research objects,uses methods of literature,expert interviews,questionnaires and other research methods comprehensive study to analyze the status to analysis,and discusses the problems existing in the forming process of class cohesion from the aspects of community,core and individual,and gives suggestions accordingly for teachers to improve class management.This paper analyzes the problems which is mainly divided into four parts.Part one is a brief overview of the research background and significance.Part two outlines the situation of class cohesion research at home and abroad,analyzes cohesion and class cohesion theoretically,defines cohesion and class cohesion and its influence and roles.Part three achieves a lot of valuable data by questionnaire survey and interview,starting from problems existing in the forming process of class cohesion in 4 junior middle schools of a district in Dalian city,and analyzes the problems from four perspectives,including the selection of class committee,class activities,class members' mental feeling and teachers' management.Part four presents the suggestions of improving the class cohesion,including building strong class team,caring every student,increasing frequency of extracurricular activities and strengthening the teaching staff.
