British scholar Ashby said that the university was the product of the gene and environment.The university management model is always keeping the dynamic balance of the internal logic and external environment and it finally produces a relatively stable and lasting automatic balanced mechanism.Ginling College is a famous modern Chinese women's university.Although the founder of this university was the western,this college adjusted itself,gradually rooted in China and formed its own unique management features in the process of transplanting the advanced management model of western university.So Ginling College had become the pioneer of the Chinese women's university and promoted the development of Chinese women's higher education.Any social science is the contemporary history,and the analysis without limited time is meaningless.It cannot meet cognitive need that analyzing Ginling College's thirty years management model only from macroscopic view.It is more realistic to understand the the essence of origin,development and reform of the university management model if we analyze the characteristic and adaptability change of Ginling College's management model in different historical and cultural background with the registration as staging.Registration is a process in which christian colleges registered their schools in China,and it is also a symbol of localization in Ginling college.Before registration,although Ginling college was totally in the control of the mission and served for preaching the religion,it had gradually formed a stable and unique management.On management idea,Ginling College formed the main concept of religion management and the complementary concept of women and modern management subsidiary.That's laid the solid foundation for the development and future of Ginling college.For management subject,they formed the structure of church management organization in the exterior.But in the interior,the core power was also in the control of administrator(also the Christian).The staff who lied in the bottom were always self-government.For management system,Ginling college formed the administration rules mainly about religion administration rules and women management rules which are all based on informal religion.In the registration,anti-Christianity movement and regaining educational right movement were pointing at the mission schools which founded by the western.The war fighting for the power between government and the church began.During that period,the conflict of power,faith,gender grew remarkably.So the administrator in Ginling college had to adjust their rules and to meet the need of country and the society.After the registration,Ginling college accelerated the reform of localization.For its management idea,religion management idea was weakened,but the national spirit strengthened.On the management subject,due to the fight between the government and the church,administration authority gradually shifted to the Chinese.The exterior power struggle gave the interior administrator more space to manage their affairs.Then the management regulations became more and more localized,systematic and scientific.Experiencing the change of the management model,Ginling college's religious function became weakened,and the educational function was highlighted.The reasonable composition of the religious belief was retained,and was also endowed with epoch significance.Finally,Ginling college not only formed its unique management model,but also was accepted by the people and educational system.
