TI graphing calculator,one that can calculate and draw pictures and even program,is a powerful tool for the students to study mathematics.In senior high school,mathematics becomes more abstract,which makes it sort of difficult for the students to learn it well.Therefore,it is necessary to set up the course the TI graphing calculator and the high school mathematics so as to make the students understand the function of the TI graphing calculator,to grasp the method of the usage,and be skilled at solving the related problems.However,the study and the achievement on the teaching strategy and the effect of the school-based course is rare.The current state of the starting also is not very ideal.Consequently,this article mainly focuses on how to achieve better effects in the school-based curriculum of the TI graphing calculator and the high school mathematics.Firstly,on the basis of relevant theoretical research,in this paper,the school-based curriculum,TI graphing calculator,the TI graphing calculator and the high school math courses and related concept are defined,and expounds the teaching goal of school-based curriculum,school-based curriculum teaching requirements,the role of TI graphing calculator in high school mathematics learning,for the high school the TI graphing calculator and the high school mathematics learning provides a theoretical basis for school-based curriculum.Then,based on the detailed census and analysis of the researches in 18 seniorhigh schools in Shandong,Tianjin,Shanghai,Fujian and Beijing,the questionnaire in this paper shows the current state of the application of TI Graphing-calculator in math learning in senior school.The author finds that there exist many defects in the school-based course the TI graphing calculator and the high school mathematics.The grades in which the course is offered are not sufficiently optimized;the teaching arrangements in each semester are different in different schools;most schools do not correspond to the school-based teaching materials,and the arbitrary use of teaching material is serious;teaching methods and teaching mode focus much on the status of teachers,ignoring the dominant position of students in teaching activities;teaching contents pay less attention to training the skill of the students' innovation and the ability to analyze and solve the problems.Thirdly,in order to solve the above problems,the author puts forward several suggestions on the teaching of school-based curriculum: the set-up of the TI graphing calculator and the high school mathematics should be supported by relevant teaching applications;the contents should be correspondent with the students' characteristics and learning status so that it can enable the students to develop constantly;the teaching objectives should be practical and school-based teaching materials should be provided.There should be a variety of teaching methods.More importantly,the efficiency of the students' study should be stressed.In teaching,the students should be put in center so that the students' creative spirit can develop better.The integration of comprehensive and exploratory problems should be more focused on.Teaching evaluation mode can be more open and more attention should be paid to process evaluation.Finally,through the teaching experiment of the effectiveness of the school-based curriculum teaching method of the TI graphing calculator and the high school mathematics,and according to the point of the contrast experiment teaching effects of two parallel class,this course teaching strategy and teaching results have been achieved a lot.
