A Comparative Study Of American Political Socialization And China's Ideological And Political Education

The concept of political socialization first appeared in the United States at the end of the 1950 s.In the subsequent 60 s and 70 s,the United States and other western countries had developed a research upsurge about political socialization,thus forming a theory.The so-called political socialization means that as a member of the political community,the social members of the political community learn to accept the political culture and continue to form their own political views;as a whole,the political community carries out the education of the people in political culture and disseminating political information and values.There is a very close relationship between the subject of Ideological and political education and the study of political socialization in our country.From the perspective of civic education,the two have the same wonderful work.Therefore,the analysis of the theory and practice of political socialization in the United States and comparing it with the ideological and political education in China and summing up its basic experience will provide important reference for the construction of Ideological and political education in China.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this paper is divided into three parts.The first part is mainly to discuss the basic connotation,the way and the essential content of the theory of political socialization in the United States,so as to lay the theoretical foundation for the in-depth study of the following.The second part is to make a comparative analysis of the four aspects of the theoretical basis,educational objectives,educational content and educational methods of China and the United States.This systematic comparative analysis provides a basis for us to learn from the successful experience and beneficial components in the political socialization of the United States.In the third part,it is mainly the evaluation of the achievements made in the political socialization of the United States.Through the in-depth analysis of the two aspects of its achievements and existing problems,the deficiency of the ideological and political education in China is contrasted,and the ideological and political education of Ideological and political education is put forward and the method of creative ideological and political education is put forward.It is of great significance for improving the effectiveness of Ideological and political education in China to enrich the content of Ideological and political education,to integrate and optimize educational resources and to strengthen the optimization of Ideological and political education environment.
