Functional oligosaccharide is a kind of complex carbohydrates with special physiological effects, they can regulate intestinal flora by promoting the growth of probiotics and inhibiting the growth of pathogenic bacteria.they can promote the digestion and absorption of nutrients?such as minerals?,and enhance immune function etc. They are widely used in food, medicine and health products and feed industry. The paper studied the effects of six common oligosaccharides?isomaltooligosaccharides, fructooligosaccharides, galactooligosaccharides, xylooligosaccharides, lactulose and oligomericlactoses?on the growth of lactic acid bacteria?Streptococcus thermophilus?Lactobacillus bulgaricus?Bifidobacterium animalis?and Escherichia coli, the biofilm formation of Streptococcus thermophiles and Escherichia coli and the intestinal organic acids and intestinal flora of mice, the results were as follows:?1?When oligosaccharides replaced carbon sources in the media, the growth of S.thermophilus is inhibited, when the replacement amount of oligomericlactoses was 100%,the inhibition of S.thermophilus was strongest;Except oligomericlactoses, the rest of oligosaccharides inhibited the growth of L.bulgaricus, when the substitution amount of lactulose was 25%,the growth of L.bulgaricus is the most;Except oligomericlactoses, the rest of oligosaccharides promoted the growth of B.animalis, when the replacement amount of xylooligosaccharides was 100%,the promotion of B.animalis was strongest.?2?When oligosaccharide was added into media as adding foctors, the A600 value of S.thermophilus were increasing,to varying degrees. When the added amount of lactulose and isomaltooligosaccharides were 0.5%,the promotion of S.thermophilus was strongest. The effect of oligosaccharide on growth of L.bulgaricus was very small,When the added amount of isomaltooligosaccharides and galactooligosaccharides were 0.1%and 0.05%,respectively,the promotion of L.bulgaricus was more stronger.Except oligomericlactoses, the rest of oligosaccharides could promote the growth of B.animalis, when the added amount of xylooligosaccharides and fructooligosaccharides were 0.5%,the promotion of B.animalis was strongest, the A60000 value of B.animalis were reached to 1.700;Except oligomericlactoses, the rest of oligosaccharides could promote the growth of E.coli, when the added amount of xylooligosaccharides and isomaltooligosaccharides were 0.1%,the promotion of E.coli was strongest.?3?Isomaltooligosaccharides and lactulose were beneficial to the forming of organic acid of S.thermophiles,lactulose?0.5%?could greatly promote the increase of lactic acid;all of the oligosaccharides were beneficial to the forming of organic acid of B.animalis but oligomericlactoses which went against to the forming of organic acid, the effect of isomaltooligosaccharides and fructooligosaccharides was the most.all of the oligosaccharides had no effects on the forming of organic acid of L.bulgaricus but oligomericlactoses, which went against to the forming of organic acid of L.bulgaricus too.?4?Both of thetwo oligosaccharides?isomaltooligosaccharides and xylooligosaccharides?had a promotion effect on the biofilm formation of S.thermophiles but a inhibitory effect on the biofilm formation of E.coli.To S.thermophiles, the optimum content of isomaltooligosaccharides was 0.1%or 0.5%,and the optimum content of xylooligosaccharides was 1%.However,to E.coli, the optimum content of isomaltooligosaccharides was 0.1%,and the optimum content of xylooligosaccharides was0.1%or 1%.?5?Lactulose could significantly increase the body weight, the mixture of bacterial suspension and lactulose could greatly improve food utilization?6.29%?,reduced food consumption?185g?;the mixture of bacterial suspension?lactulose and isomaltooligosaccharides had a stronger role in promoting organic acid on mouse intestinal canal and the intestinal probiotics quantity,at the same time, they could reduce the number of harmful bacteria too.
