One of the key technology of deep resource exploration is high temperature drilling fluid technology.High temperature drilling fluid mainly has the oil base drilling fluid and water base drilling fluid,because of high pollution and high cost of the oil based drilling fluid,so it is mainly based on high temperature water-based drilling fluid.Water base drilling fluid is mainly use modified lignite?lignin sulfonate or water-soluble polymer as the main agent,its high temperature rheology and filtration is still difficult to control.Ionic liquid has characteristics of high thermal stability?good solubility and structure "design",it displays a wide range of potential applications in organic synthesis?separation?waste water treatment?aerospace and electrochemical and so on at many aspects,therefore explore the effects of ionic liquids on the performance of drilling fluid has important significance.Firstly,the property of the ionic liquid of the ionic liquids was evaluated.Under the same anion,the thermal stability is lower,the water solubility is worse,the foaming power is stronger;and the anion has great influence on the thermal stability and foaming power.Secondly,through test methods of rheological characteristic test at room temperature?high temperature rolling experiment and high temperature and high pressure rheology,studied the effects of ionic liquids on fresh water base mud and polymer matrix slurry.Different long-chain imidazolium ionic liquids can improve the rheology of water base drilling fluids and high temperature resistance of the drilling fluid;at different aging time,the drilling fluid rheology can still remain stable,exhibit strong resistance to high temperature.TIL A showed a very good compatibility with PHPA and xanthan gum,and showed poor compatibility with HV-CMC.The adsorption of sodium montmorillonite showed that the adsorption equilibrium time was 4h,the adsorption concentration reached equilibrium at 2000mg/L,and the adsorption effect was good when PH was 6?8;TGA results showed that,after adsorption of sodium montmorillonite,its thermal decomposition temperature increased significantly;XRD and FTIR data showed that,the cation exchange occurred between sodium montmorillonite layer.Shale rolling recovery rate experiment and CST value test results show that,shale rolling recovery rate of base slurry which was added concentration of 0.05%TIL are higher than that joined 7%KCl and 3%poly amine,CST value was smaller;the results of particle size determination and Zeta potential test showed that,particle size increases with the increase of the concentration of TIL,and particle size of the base slurry which added concentration of 0.1%TIL is bigger than that of base slurry joined 7%KC1 and 3%poly amine,and showed better inhibition of bentonite slurry maked ability.Sodium montmorillonite adsorbs by cation exchange adsorption and makes the organic cation into sodium montmorillonite interlayer,and not easy to desorption,thereby inhibite water molecules into sodium montmorillonite(MMT)interlayer and inhibit hydration swelling and dispersion of sodium montmorillonite.The study of filtration of drilling fluid at high temperature and high pressure,TIL had little effect on high temperature and high pressure filtration of water base slurry,and displayed well with the polymer,and the high temperature and high pressure filtration decreased much more;the concentration of 0.05%ionic liquids has little effect on the lubrication of the drilling fluid.
