As one city which is severely affected by the ground fissures disaster,the existence of ground fissures seriously restrict the development of Xi'an's economy.In recent years,with the Xi'an ground fissures activity being stable and the need of urban development,new requirements are put forward for the ground fissures utilization.Until now,the research on the distribution characteristics,active characteristics and genetic mechanism of the ground fissures are relatively mature.However,the study on the dynamic response and the ground motion parameters of the ground fissures are not systematic.Xi'an lies in the Fen-wei Basin which has strong tectonic movement,and there may be many seismic risks in the future.Therefore,it has great practical significance and engineering value to study the dynamic response of the ground fissures for the rational use of urban land resources.In this paper,the ground fissure site of Xi'an f4 was taken as the research object.Based on shaking table model test and numerical simulation,the dynamic response of ground fissures was studied.The main research works and contributions are as follows:Firstly,the basic characteristics,active characteristics and genetic mechanism of ground fissures in Xi'an were summarized briefly,and the adverse effects of ground fissures on the urban construction in Xi'an were analyzed.Secondly,Through the field investigation of the f4 ground fissure site,the shaking table test of f4 single crack site was designed and completed based on the similarity theory.The “amplification-effect” and “hanging wall and footwall effect” were analyzed in light of the seismic response of test model.Thirdly,four boundary conditions of finite element model were selected.The dynamic response of the finite element model under four boundary conditions were compared with the data recorded which were obtained by the ground fissures shaking table test.The reasonable boundary conditions of the finite element model were found out.Finally,ABAQUS finite element software was used to analyze the dynamic response of the f4 ground fissure site under finite element model.The ground motion parameters(peak ground acceleration,peak ground motion velocity,peak ground motion displacement and energy)were acquired under the action of different directions,different types and different seismic intensity earthquake.
