Honghuaerji W-Mo Deposit lies on the Xing'an-Mongolia orogenic belt, which is at honghuaerji-mianduhe uplift area on the south side of the Mongol-Okhotsk ocean collision orogeny. The hosting rocks mainly are biotite plagioclase granite, potash feldspar granite and metasiltstone. The ore bodies occur in or out of the contact zone between the granite body and the strata, the orebodies are controlled by joint fissure zone on the top of the rock as vein and composite vein. The wallrook alterations are greisenization, silicification, limonitization, sericitization, chloritization and kaolinization. There are several hypotheses about the genesis of the deposit,e.g.potash feldspar-albite type,scheelite-quartz type,molybdenite-quartz type, polymetallic sulfide-quartz type and carbonate-quartz type. Both mineralization and diagenesis occurred in early-middle Jurassic, its metallogenic epoch was Early-Yanshan period. The formation of deposit has an intimate relationship with magmatism which was generated in the post-orogenic extensional collapse, magmatic melt gradually evolved into tungsten-rich hydrothermal solution with the magmatic crystallization and differentiation, this deposit had been formed by metasomatizing of the tungsten-rich melt. The genetic type of ore deposit is the high-temperature hydrothermal W-Mo deposit. There are 3 integrated anomaly zones according to results of geological survey, rock geochemical survey and polarization intermediate gradien survey.Integrated anomaly zones can provide evidence for further exploration.
